Constantia is an upmarket area and is situated in the Western Cape, a few kilometres south of Table Mountain and the City Bowl. Constantia is one of the oldest townships of Cape Town and is famed for its beautiful scenery, lush hiking trails, golf courses, green belts and wine route. The first major estate, Groot Constantia, was established in 1684 by the Dutch Colonial Governor of Cape Town, Simon van der Stel.
